I am 54 years old.  I enjoy fishing in the sea and the river since my childhood. It was the first time for me to fly fish in fall 2000 in Housatonic river in Connecticut State.  I hired the guide and he prepared all equipments including the wader with holes.  I did not catch any fish but I loved the feeling of being in the river water, fly line casting over the big river, the wind over the river and the sound of water.  It was a fascinating experience.  In the following weekend, I bought the fly fishing equipments and put all of them in the trunk of my car.
    I love golfing also.  I used to go out with my golf friends every weekend.  But after encountering fly fishing, l devoted myself to fly fishing for about three years. I mainly fished in the rivers in Connecticut State and Connetquot in Long Island, New York State.  One of my favorite memories is when I’ve fly fished with my friend in West Yellowstone.  
      In 2005, I returned home in Japan. I did not have enough chances to go fly fishing in Japan. I only fly fish about 1 or 2 times playing with the trout in the management fishing places in and near Kanto area.  Joining the club, I would like to continue enjoying fly fishing as a healthy sport, which give us a chance to protect the nature surrounding the splendid fishing places harmoniously.
